The custom minifigure of the Italian Royal Army "Folgore" division paratrooper officer by Italianminifig is sold with a Mod. 42 helmet. The uniform - full of details and 360° printed on an original Lego - is the one supplied in the 40s, during the Second World War. In that period the Folgore Division was operational in North Africa. The minifigure is finished by hand: any imperfection or discrepancy between one item and another is not to be considered a defect, but a feature that makes the product a unique piece.

The birth of the Folgore is determined by two events. The first: the establishment, in Libya, of the Infantry Air Battalion in 1938. The second is the birth, in Italy, in 1939, of the Parachuting School. Here, the men who later, in July 1940, will create the 1st Carabinieri Parachute Battalion are trained in throwing and combat.

In July 1941 the Parachute Division was established. In July 1942, after being stationed in North Africa, it took the name of "Folgore".

While distinguishing themselves for their tenacity in resisting British attacks during the second battle of El Alamein, the Italian paratroopers were forced to surrender to the British, obtaining, however, the honors of war.

The Folgore was awarded the Gold Medal for Military Valor. Entirely destroyed in battle, the Division was dissolved at the end of 1942.
