101st Airborne Division

The paratrooper minifigure of the 101st Airborne Division of the U.S. Army by Italianminifig is sold complete with the typical M1 helmet with playing cards printed on the side: the suit of spades depicted represents company "E", the famous "Easy Company".

Also known as "Screaming Eagles", the 101st is a light infantry division specialized in air assault operations. The uniform, rich in details and 360° printed on original Lego, is the one supplied during the Second World War.

The 101st Airborne Division was formed in 1918, but it was in 1942 that it became an airborne unit and, mission after mission, earned the honor of being one of the most decorated divisions in the U.S. Army. Operation Overlord, Operation Market Garden, liberation of the Netherlands, Battle of the Bulge are some of the war theaters in which the 101st earned fame and prestige during the Second World War.
