AstroMinifig
AstroMinifig
AstroMinifig is a minifigure created by Italianminifig that reproduces a female astronaut with helmet and space suit rich in details and printed at 360° on original Lego.
On the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the mission “Expedition 42” which began on November 23, 2014, Italianminifig wants to pay tribute to the first Italian woman in space and the first European woman commander of the International Space Station: Samantha Cristoforetti.
Samantha Cristoforetti, during her first mission in space, Expedition 42/43 Futura, orbited the Earth aboard the ISS for 199 days, setting, at the time, the female record for permanence in space. After carrying out scientific research and after having traveled 135.184.896 kilometers from the day of launch into space, on June 11, 2015 Samantha Cristoforetti returned to Earth with the Soyuz spacecraft, landing in Kazakhstan.
AstroMinifig is not only a tribute to Samantha Cristoforetti, but also a tribute to all women: increasingly protagonists of extraordinary challenges, determined to achieve goals, ready to break down clichés and gender stereotypes.

Each Italianminifig item does not intend to celebrate any authoritarian regime, not intends to foment hatred or a repressive spirit towards freedom and human rights).
