The Carro Veloce 33 (C.V. 33) by Italianminifig is a scale reproduction - buildable, made up of original Lego pieces and with movable tracks - of the Italian light tank, developed in 1933 as an improvement of the previous C.V. 29.
The Carro Veloce 33 - like its predecessor - was inspired by the British Carden-Loyd Mk VI tankette.
The sales package includes:
- A bag containing the Carro Veloce 33 assembling pieces (209 pcs. - 2 are printed).
- A certificate attesting the authenticity of the Carro Veloce 33, as an Italianminifig product, and that it belongs to a limited edition.
- A minifigure representing a 1933 Italian Royal Army tank driver.
- Assembly instructions.
The C.V. 33 was a very light, fast and easy to handle vehicle. The Carro Veloce 33 was used by the armored troops of the Royal Army and by Bersaglieri and cavalry too, but, after the armistice of Cassibile, also by those units of the National Republican Guard of the newly formed Italian Social Republic which were able to take possession of some specimens.
The tank was equipped with two 8 mm Fiat Mod. 14/35 machine guns.
The Carro Veloce 33 and its subsequent evolutions were exported to numerous countries: from Afghanistan to Bolivia, from Austria to China, from Brazil to Hungary, the C.V. 33 was really used all over the world.
(This product is not a toy: it is not suitable for children under the age of 14, due to the small parts that constitute it. It is a collector's item of historical interest. Each Italianminifig item does not intend to celebrate any authoritarian regime, not intends to foment hatred or a repressive spirit towards freedom and human rights).
