The Italianminifig “Brigata JuliaAlpine minifigure is equipped with a ballistic tactical helmet with the typical black feather. The uniform, rich in details and printed at 360°, is the camouflage currently supplied to the Julia.

Formed in 1872 within the Royal Italian Army, the Alpini are the oldest mountain infantry corps in the world.

Created in 1923 as “3° Raggruppamento Alpino”, the brigade took on the current name in 1934. The Julia is one of the units of the Italian Army specialized in mountain combat.

In 1939 the Julia Alpine Brigade was deployed in Albania and, at the outbreak of the Second World War, was fully operational on the Greek front. Subsequently, Julia also suffered the same tragic fate occured to other Italian Royal Army units: it took part in Operation Barbarossa in the Soviet Union and was decimated there.

Dissolved with the armistice and reconstituted in 1949, it’s currently located in Friuli Venezia Giulia, Veneto and Trentino Alto Adige, in the North East of Italy. The Brigade is made up of one-year or four-year enlisted volunteers and on permanent duty volunteers. The Julia Brigade is part of a Large Multinational Unit which also includes Slovenian and Hungarian departments.
