The M33 helmet (short for "model 1933") for Skier Alpine by Italianminifig, available with blue or red tassel, was designed in our modeling department, 3D printed and hand decorated in every detail. Each piece is unique.

Born in the mid-30s from an idea of Eng. Nicola Leszl, the "model 33" is the longest-lived helmet in the history of the Italian armed forces: it was used until the 1990s, when it was replaced by kevlar helmets. Practical, resistant and economical to produce, the new helmet has inside a brown leather padding connected to a metal skeleton fixed to the shell.

The "model 33" was widely used: depending on the body that received it, it changed color. The Cervino Battalion, starting from 1942, used an "M33" equipped with a white camouflage lining that allowed the alpine skiers involved in the Russian campaign to blend in better with snow and ice. The helmet is completed by the traditional feather and the tassel on which it was grafted: the blue tassel was used on the Greek front, the red one on the Russian one.
