The Italianminifg Siluro a Lenta Corsa is a scale reproduction, mountable and made up of original Lego pieces, of the underwater assault vehicle used by the Italian Royal Navy during the Second World War.

The sales package includes:

- A small bag containing the pieces for torpedo assembling (78 pcs.).

- Two Gamma Group scuba divers minifigures.

- A certificate attesting to Siluro a Lenta Corsa authenticity, as an Italianminifig product, and to its belonging to a limited edition.

- Assembly instructions.

Familiarly called "Maiale" (Pig), the torpedo was made up of three parts. A tail with the engine; a central part in which the batteries and two operators who led the vessel and carried out the attack on enemy ships were accommodated; a front part in which the explosive charge that was used to carry out the planned assault was stowed.

The Siluro a Lenta Corsa derived from a semi-underwater assault vehicle designed by Eng. Raffaele Rossetti during the First World War, the Rossetti self-propelled torpedo, also known as "Mignatta".

The project was perfected in 1935 and, led by the men of the X Flottiglia MAS, the "pigs" were used in a highly successful mission in 1941: the sinking of the British battleships HMS Valiant and HMS Queen Elizabeth.
