The Italianminifig “Brigata Taurinense” Alpine is equipped with a ballistic tactical helmet with the typical black feather. The uniform, rich in details and printed at 360°, is the camouflage currently supplied to the Taurinense.

Formed in 1872 within the Royal Italian Army, the Alpini are the oldest mountain infantry corps in the world.

The Taurinense Alpine Brigade was born in 1923 with the name of "Primo Raggruppamento Alpino" and acquired its current name in 1934. "Taurinense" derives from "Turin", the city where the headquarters are located.

During the Second World War it was employed in Montenegro and, after the Armistice, various components of the Taurinense merged into the Italian Partisan Garibaldi Division. The official reconstitution of the Taurinense Brigade took place in 1952.

The operating theaters of the "Tau" (this is how the Brigade is affectionately called by its members) are both in Italy, as a force at the service of community security, and abroad. Under the aegis of the UN or NATO, the Taurinense has been deployed in Mozambique, Bosnia, Albania, Kosovo, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Iraq, Libya, Somalia.
